Understanding stakeholder perceptions of bioenergy is an important factor in the development of bioenergy industries in the Pacific Northwest. The Advanced Hardwood Biofuels Northwest extension team surveyed three groups – landowners, environmental professionals, and extension professionals – to identify their interests and concerns surrounding bioenergy. This webinar will cover the results of these studies and examine how this information can be used moving forward.
Who Should Attend?
Environmental professionals, Extension professionals, students, land managers, bioenergy researchers, bio-industry representatives, academic researchers, and community leaders.
Presenters: Patricia Townsend and Marina Heppenstall from Washington State University Extension
Sponsored by: Washington State University Extension with funding from Agriculture and Food Research Initiative (AFRI) Competitive Grant no. 2011-68005-30407 from the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA).
